Lawn Treatment Technician — What You'll Do
If you enjoy being outdoors, working independently, and watching your effort turn average lawns into lush, healthy turf — this role is for you. At Grow Green Weed Control, you’ll join a close-knit, firefighter-owned team that values professionalism, reliability, and pride in a job well done.
Compensation includes a competitive starting hourly rate plus a commission based on production. You’ll get hands-on training, quality equipment, and a clear path for advancement. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll develop real skills, make an impact for customers, and be rewarded for performance.
Job Overview
- Apply herbicides, pre/post-emergents, fertilizers, potassium, and soil amendments per route schedule.
- Operate and maintain sprayers/meters safely.
- Communicate with customers and log services in the app.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license & insurable driving record.
- Comfortable working outdoors; able to lift 50–60 lbs and walk 3–4 miles/day.
- Willing to learn — experience is a plus, not required.
Nice to Have
- Comfortable using a mobile app for routing, notes, and photos.
- Basic equipment care and cleanliness (hoses, tips, filters).
- Attention to detail with mixing rates & label directions.
Day in the Life
- Start at the shop ~7:30–8:00 a.m., load, check equipment, review route.
- Treat 12–20 lawns/day depending on size and season.
- Log notes/photos in the app; flag issues for follow-up.
- Rinse tanks, tidy truck, and prep for tomorrow.

Part-Time Office Assistant — What You'll Do
Prefer an indoor role where organization and communication are your superpowers? Join us as a Part-Time Office Assistant and help keep the engine running. You’ll be the friendly voice customers hear, the scheduler who keeps routes smooth, and the support that helps our techs stay efficient in the field.
This role is part-time with a consistent weekly schedule. You’ll work closely with the owner and the field team. We value people who are dependable, calm under pressure, and great with follow-through.
Job Overview
- Answer and return calls, text/email customers, and schedule services.
- Create and update work orders; confirm next-day routes.
- Post service notes, handle simple billing questions, and take payments.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with computers: email, spreadsheets, and web apps/CRMs.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a service business (home services, lawn/landscape, etc.).
- Familiarity with scheduling or dispatch tools.
- Basic bookkeeping or invoicing exposure.
Day in the Life
- Check voicemails/messages, return calls, and confirm appointments.
- Monitor tech progress; adjust routes for weather or priority calls.
- Log customer notes and create follow-ups in the system.
