A sunny front lawn and a shaded backyard can need different attention. We consider grass type, moisture, weeds, and trouble spots so treatment reflects the property.
Apply with purpose
Our liquid program pairs seasonal nutrition with weed prevention and targeted control. Products and timing are selected for the grass, active problems, and application conditions.
Keep care responsive
We review the lawn’s response and monitor insect and disease concerns as the seasons change. Visit photos and notes explain the work and any watering, mowing, or other aftercare.
A plan for the weeds in your lawn.
We look at the weed species, the grass around it, and growing conditions before choosing treatment. Some weeds need continued management or a separate specialty plan.
- Crabgrass & goosegrass
Seasonal prevention helps limit new weeds. Existing grassy weeds are evaluated for targeted care based on the species, grass type, and growing conditions.
- Broadleaf weeds & sedges
We identify the active weeds before selecting treatment. Problems such as Virginia buttonweed, dollarweed, and nutsedge can need continued attention as conditions change.
- Dallisgrass
Ask about a separate specialty plan. We review the lawn and explain the scope, price, and timing before you approve.

Year-round care.
Seasonal priorities.
Livingston Parish weather can shift from heavy rain to dry stretches. We review moisture, weed activity, and turf growth at each visit so nutrition and weed control follow the conditions in your yard.
- Spring / active growth
Start with the lawn’s wake-up.
Time feeding to active growth, address early weeds, and use preventive treatments at appropriate seasonal windows.
- Summer / heat and growth
Support steady progress.
Adjust nutrition and weed control for heat, moisture, and turf response while monitoring seasonal insect activity.
- Fall / seasonal transition
Prepare for a change of pace.
Shift nutrition as growth slows, manage cool-season weed pressure, and watch for seasonal disease concerns.
- Winter / weed management
Keep care going through dormancy.
Monitor lawn conditions and winter weeds. Dormant warm-season grass does not need the same nitrogen feeding as actively growing summer turf.
This is an overview of seasonal priorities. Actual products, rates, and visit timing depend on turf needs, weather, and label directions.
Know the grass. Match the care.
The right care starts
with the grass you have.
Centipede, St. Augustine, bermuda, and zoysia need different care. We consider sunlight, moisture, and mowing along with the grass type when choosing nutrition and weed-control treatments.
| Centipede | A naturally lighter green grass with lower nitrogen needs. Excess feeding can create stress instead of improving lawn health. |
|---|---|
| St. Augustine | Account for sunlight and stress. Shaded areas may need less fertilizer than turf in full sun. |
| Bermuda | Generally has greater nitrogen needs than centipede. Feeding should reflect active growth and how the lawn is maintained. |
| Zoysia | Balance growth with maintenance. Too much nitrogen can contribute to excess growth and thatch. |

Clear answers before you start
Your lawn.
Your questions, answered.
What to expect from treatment visits, monthly billing, service calls, and getting your property ready.
Talk with our teamHow often do you treat lawns in Livingston Parish?
Our annual lawn program includes eight planned visits, generally about six weeks apart. Timing and applications depend on the season, weather, and turf condition. Each visit serves a purpose; eight visits do not mean eight identical fertilizer applications.
How is lawn treatment priced and billed?
Your estimate is based on the measured treatable lawn area, property conditions, and selected services. The annual eight-visit program price is divided into twelve monthly payments. Monthly billing does not mean a treatment every month.
What if weeds show up between visits?
Contact our office so we can review the concern and your active program. Covered service calls are included at no extra charge. Any separate specialty treatment is explained and priced before you approve.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Service is month-to-month with no long-term contract. Your estimate explains the recommended service, price, and terms before you approve.
Do I still need to mow and water a certain way?
Yes. Mowing height, frequency, and watering affect how your lawn responds to treatment. We provide recommendations for your grass type and current conditions, including any product-specific watering directions after service. Mention shaded, soggy, or high-traffic areas so we can account for them in your care plan.
Is weed control included?
Yes. The program includes seasonal weed prevention and targeted control of existing weeds. Products and timing are selected for the grass, weed species, and conditions. Persistent weeds may need ongoing or additional targeted care, which we review with you.
How soon will I see results?
Response varies with the weed species, grass, temperature, rainfall, and condition of the lawn. Some weeds begin responding after treatment, while persistent problems can need repeated or specialized care. We explain what to watch for in your service notes; lawn density also depends on consistent care and appropriate maintenance.
Do you treat commercial properties in Livingston Parish?
Yes. We treat residential lawns and select commercial properties in Livingston Parish. Choose the commercial property option in the form and include the business or property name, access needs, and concerns in the notes. We review the property and explain the recommended scope and pricing before you approve.
Which Livingston Parish communities do you serve?
We serve Denham Springs, Walker, Livingston, Albany, Springfield, Maurepas, Holden, Killian, and nearby areas. Rural properties, the Tickfaw River area, and requests near the parish line are reviewed by address. Enter the city or community from your mailing address and your ZIP code so we can confirm coverage before arranging service.
Do I need to be home, and how should I prepare?
Usually not, as long as we can access the scheduled treatment area. Unlock gates, secure pets, and share any access restrictions or sensitive areas. We provide service notes and product-specific directions for watering, mowing, and other aftercare.
When can children and pets return to the lawn?
Keep people and pets away from the treatment area during application. Follow the specific re-entry directions provided for the products used. A single waiting period does not apply to every treatment.
Can I add flower-bed weed control or fire ant treatment?
Yes. Ask us to include flower-bed weed control or fire ant service with your lawn estimate. These are separate services with their own pricing. We can also discuss tree and shrub care, aeration, and additional insect or fungus concerns.
